Making: Mittens, blankets, and a hat. Also writing some patterns
Cooking: Leftover lemon soup for dinner
Drinking: Water and Coffee
Reading: Not much! I got a couple books I want to start
Liking: The normal routine again after the holidays
Wondering: How much snow we will get Thursday
Loving: All of the knitting ideas going in my head. So many things I want to do!
Wanting: To be better at time management
Looking: In the office with the usual desk full of yarn and notebooks
Playing: Mario Party with the kids
Wishing: I wish I wouldn’t get so down and hard on myself when I see others so successful. The comparing thing is bad and I get sucked into it. Instagram is a love/hate thing these days. So many amazing makers and friends. But I tend to let my thoughts go where they shouldn’t. Jealousy is not ok
Enjoying: My cozy robe I got for Christmas!
Hoping: Hoping I can organize my thoughts and ideas and get to work
Needing: A second set of arms
Smelling: Essential Oils
Wearing: The usual, comfy clothes. And maybe my robe… because it’s like wearing a blanket. Don’t judge
Noticing: That I have too many notebooks… Well maybe not
Thinking: Of ideas… The creative juices are flowing
Feeling: Odd… I’m having mixed emotions. I was all excited and motivated this morning and now I am kind of discouraged and down. Blah
I can’t have a post without pictures, right?
New hat pattern I tried. It was so fun! You can get the pattern HERE.
I added a cool mustard yellow cowl in the shop. Get yours HERE
My daughter was able to go on a daddy-daughter date for her birthday. She had so much fun! My husband even got her some gorgeous flowers
Here in South Dakota, we have had some nasty cold temps. Think “feels like” -31 below. Yesterday and today it’s in the 30s and it feels like a heat wave! So of course the kids went out and played. My daughter made a little snowman
This little guy… His name is Walter. You met him HERE when he was a pup. He’s my dads dog but I like to think I have shared custody of him. He’s my Walter Baby and my Sweet Boy. Those are my names for him. He’s just adorable! Yet he’s also still a puppy. That little carrot on the snowman? Walter stole it and ate it when we all went inside. Typical… He’s lucky he’s cute
That’s all for now! Stay warm friends
